Administer the Aerodrome Safety Management System (ASMS) with good knowledge in ICAO Annex 19
Regularly review and update the ASMS Manual to ensure that it meets the requirements of the Aerodrome Licensing Requirements Document (ALRD) issued by Civil Aviation Department
Responsible for the ramp safety oversight programme to continually enhance ramp safety amidst the traffic growth and operations of HKIA
Lead a team of safety managers to conduct safety compliance checks and ASMS audits to monitor the safety performance of franchisees to ensure assurance of applicable safety standards
Contribute to ongoing development and implementation of a hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) programme to support and enhance airport safety
Monitor the safety key performance indicators (KPIs) of ASMS and develop programmes to ensure that the KPls and targets are achieved
Develop and implement programmes for conducting fire drills for Passenger Terminal Buildings
Undertake ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Safety, Aviation, Logistics, Engineering, Science or related disciplines
Possession of ICAO ASP, HK Registered Safety Officer, HK Registered Safety Auditor or Corporate Membership of professional safety and health is an advantage
A minimum of 8 years of experience in safety and health related work, with at least 5 years at a managerial or supervisory level
Proven ability to take ownership and responsibility with the ability to set priorities and manage deadlines
Proactive, able to work under pressure with strategic mindset capable to lead the team to formulate and execute action plans
Strong integrated thinking and fact-based problem solving skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau is an advantage
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
Possession of a valid HK driving license Class 1 is an advantage
