The team supports the business to grow revenues and profitability, while meeting de-risking objectives and maintaining an effective risk management framework. Key responsibilities cover the below areas:
- Support formulation, agreement, and implementation of strategic plans for the business
- Cost structure transformation and management to future proof the bank
- Risk governance to support the management team in risk oversight and decision making
- Provide oversight of fraud management and operations activities

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as
Manager, WPB Business Risk Management.
Principal responsibilities:- Established the product governance framework for the risk monitoring and oversight
- Kept abreast of relevant group guidelines and regulatory requirements and identified the impacts and controls in the field of product governance
- Proposed and implemented quality enhancement and control in response to the regulatory and audit review findings, business initiatives and policy updates
- Promoted the awareness of proper governance, including briefing to business units
- Facilitate senior management in decision making through insightful and concise recommendations from risk and control management reports
- Connect and work with stakeholders for example, Regulatory Compliance, Business, Global Function Control Owners and Risk Stewards to implement enhancements
- Participate in Ad hoc Projects
- Identify opportunities for and implement cost reduction initiatives
Requirements:
University Graduate in Business/Banking/Risk Management or related subject OR other relevant qualifications Prior management experience, ideally from a banking, financial institution Strong leadership and ownership, independent and proactive, strong time management and problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure Strong attentiveness to detail, compliance and control orientation Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills Good command of written and spoken English as well as Cantonese
