Managing Partner

We are For The People, a creative and marketing agency from Taipei, Taiwan! Our central project is BONKERS Ice Cream, the world's first fully immersive and experimental ice cream shop! In the middle of Ximending, we are planning big! Having reached break-even after only 7 months (that's pretty unusual in F&B, but you know that), we are now growing the store to the max and will open our second store next year.

To do so, we need someone who's hands-on. Preferably with experience in F&B, or having grown a business in the past, our Managing Partner knows what it takes to grow a business: Work, dedication, work, dedication!

Your payment depends on the revenue you generate. As you will be responsible for all finances, it's your decision whether you pay yourself a salary or a dividend. The amount you pay yourself is your decision, but keep in mind that we need to generate enough money by the end of the year to open the next branch. For that reason, we will allocate a monthly amount to keep aside.

Responsibilities

You will act as a Franchisee without taking the risk of a franchisee. The store is build and has been in operation for 8 months now. It's making money, has gained traction and popularity. Our Google Maps reviews are better than everyone else's and we got the staff. Fully trained, they know what they do.

• You are the lead of BONKERS Ice Cream in Taiwan. Starting with our branch in Ximending, you are solely responsible for the success of the brand. Consider yourself a franchisee without paying anything.
• You manage the team, decide on head count & job profiles.
• You are in charge of the marketing.
• You manage our partners and pro-actively find new partner.
• You analyse our customers, their needs and wishes and optimise BONKERS to be the best it can be. As we are still experimenting with the brand, we are open to re-invent.

Qualifications

• Needs to speak English
• Team leading experience of at least 2 years
• Retail or F&B experience
• Marketing experience
• Hands on, can do attitude
