Linkou Factory specializes in the production of advanced Metrology tools, Reticle handlers, and Wafer scanners, managing the entire manufacturing process in-house.
The New Product Introduction (NPI) Production Engineering team is critical in transitioning new products and design ns from the development phase to volume production. This includes overseeing system installation and qualification at customer sites, while continuously optimizing production and installation processes to align with organizational goals.
NPI(New Product Introduction) Production Engineer aims to introduce new products to the factory production line following the PGP (Product Generation Process) and as an interface between DnE and FAB HVM team.

Role and Responsibilities
Process Design and Optimization:
- Design, maintain, and optimize production processes to adapt to changing output requirements
- Develop and implement methods to measure production performance effectively
- Support production to ensure product quality, resolve blocking issues, and enhance product maturity leading to successful volume production
- Provide valuable input and feedback to the NPI Project Lead for manufacturing requirements, aiming for efficient delivery and cost reduction
End-to-End NPI Coverage:
- Manage the complete production lifecycle from design review, mechanical assembly and qualification in the assembly work center to system integration and qualification during testing and installation
New Product Introduction Duties:
- Utilize expertise in new product development to anticipate production challenges during the design phase, improving manufacturability and test design
- Prepare, drive, and validate new product deliverables concerning production tooling, processes, cabin infrastructure, training, and parts supply to meet volume production standards
- Scheduled to travel to lead plant/ design campus for new design competence buildup and proto/ pilot build validation in a relatively longer period, travel period no more than 5 months
- Be prepared to travel to installation sites for escalated issues to ensure effective solutions, travel period situational to the escalation itself
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Analyze the production process to identify structural problems and bottlenecks
- Actively work towards rapid resolution of complex production issues, exercising initiative and practical decision-making
- Propose improvement suggestions and work collaboratively with departments like Development, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer Support for implementation
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a production environment with high-tech products and complex processes, particularly in assembly and testing
- Familiarity with Technical Production Engineering and quality methodologies such as Global 8D, Statistical Process Control, and FMEA is advantageous
- Project management experience is preferred, especially in technical fields

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in theUnited States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.
- 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
