Responsibilities

- copyediting TV news scripts and social media posts

- writing TV news scripts and other related copy

- helping plan news coverage

- fact-checking scripts

- ensuring copy adheres to TaiwanPlus and AP style

- translating (Mandarin to English) when needed

Applicants must:

- have a university degree and two years related experience

- be fluent in spoken and written English

- have a comprehensive understanding of Taiwan news

- have experience writing and editing scripts for television

- enjoy working in a fast-paced quickly changing environment

Proficiency in Mandarin, social media writing, and reporting a plus.
