About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Processor to join the Operations team. In this role the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for taking accountability of the more complex issues and processes, from receipt of work to resolution and closure, that support the CDF business in Australia and New Zealand. There will be a requirement to liaise with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, providing clear, accurate and timely communication. This role will also be key for reviewing and checking work completed by others in the team, identifying and reporting errors and working with the leadership team to define and implement any required changes. These tasks will include cash application and allocation, management of customer bank accounts, closure of customer facilities and completion of security releases as well as more complex tasks such as transfer of assets to other Financiers. This role will also provide back up support to the wider team, as required by the APAC Operations Management Team, that supports our channel finance customers. Primary Responsibilities
Complete validation tasks to ensure accuracy with activities that have been processed been processed
Ensure any manual cash applications and allocations are correctly applied to the customers facility
Accuracy with updates to customer bank accounts and completion of external tax documentation
Timely completion of all account closures including accuracy with the completion of security releases
Timely escalation of any issues or concerns directly to Process Owner and APAC Governance Team
Collaborating with team, including but not limited to the Operations team to work through and resolve any issues. The expectation is that you take ownership to resolve those that are assigned to you, providing regular updates until successfully resolved
To complete reconciliation and reporting as required
To provide back up support to other team members within Operations as required
Work with APAC Operations leadership team to develop and deliver training to other team members as required
Required Qualifications:
Fluent in English, as majority of all communication and tasks will be completed in English
At least 2 years experience gained in a banking environment or equivalent
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
Ability to work in a high functioning positive team environment
Ability to work under pressure and to timelines, with minimal supervision
Experience of working in a pan-Asia or global company would be beneficial
