Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 and Oracle Database 19c. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and support of Oracle EBS and databases, ensuring smooth operations, performing essential tasks such as patching, cloning, and backups, and supporting security compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Oracle EBS R12.2 environments and Oracle 19c databases.
- Perform patching and cloning activities for both the database and applications.
- Execute quarterly security patching for Oracle EBS, WebLogic, and database servers.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Oracle ADOP (Online Patching) to perform patching tasks efficiently.
- Implement and manage RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
- Monitor database health, performance, and availability, identifying potential issues and addressing them promptly.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures for system security and backups.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 and Oracle 19c database.
- Expertise in Oracle database and application patching, including ADOP patching features.
- Proficiency in RMAN backup and recovery operations.
- Solid understanding of security patching for EBS, WebLogic, and database servers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle certification(s) related to database administration or Oracle EBS.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
