Part-time Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref: 530300) (to commence in December 2024 for six months)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Social Policies, Social Work, Political Science, or related disciplines. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of responsibility and proficiency in both written and spoken Cantonese and English. Applicants should have interests and knowledge about social policy in Hong Kong, be self-motivated and detail-oriented. Prior experiences in recruiting participants, conducting interviews and focus group discussions will be a plus. They should also have good interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
The appointee will work on research projects related to welfare attitudes and social policies in Hong Kong. They will be responsible for recruiting participants, conducting interviews and focus group discussions, being involved in data coding and performing other assigned research-related duties.
A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experiences will be offered.
