Part-time Research Assistant II in the School of Public Health(Ref: 530179) (to commence as soon as possible for six months, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a higher diploma or above. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), and good interpersonal and communication skills especially with elderly people. They should also be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
The appointees will assist in the Hong Kong Elderly Biobank research project. They will be responsible for recruiting participants via telephone and collecting data through face-to-face interviews across territory-wide community health centres in Hong Kong, as well as performing administrative tasks as assigned. They will be expected to work during daytime on weekdays for not more than 30 hours per week. He/she may be required to work outside normal office hours/on weekends occasionally.
