Applications are invited for appointing asPost-doctoral Fellow/Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:530365) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a PhD degree with a focus on research in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline competency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese). Frontline social work and/or research experience in family, mental health, and addiction-related rehabilitation services is preferable. Knowledge and experience in using mixed research methods are highly preferred.
The appointee will assist the PI in managing, coordinating, and implementing research activities on the evaluation programme, carrying out data collection and analysis, drafting reports, and performing other duties as assigned. He/She will have ample opportunities to work with social workers, multidisciplinary professionals, and other stakeholders in the local community.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Those with a Master's and without a PhD qualification will only be considered for the position of Senior Research Assistant.
