Job Description

Pre-sales Engineer

As a beBit TECH Pre-sales Engineer, your job will be positioned between sales and engineering, acting as a communication bridge between the two. You will plan customer requirements and bring back issues for discussion with the sales and engineering teams; from collecting and researching business needs to planning the Product Roadmap, you will create MarTech tools that closely align with corporate needs. Besides closely collaborating with the product team, you will also understand business requirements to create the optimal user experience!

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in Business Development

  • Participate in client meetings and explain the technical logic of existing products to clients
  • Evaluate feasibility and costs based on client needs
  • Create technical support documents and quotations

Product Requirement Collection

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand and collect customer requirements
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new product opportunities and potential improvements
  • Host client requirement interviews, assisting customers in clarifying overall system architecture and POC (Proof of Concept) planning

Product Roadmap Planning

  • Based on customer needs and market analysis, propose overall solutions
  • Conduct cross-functional collaboration to plan the priority of feature development

Product Iteration and Optimization

  • Create explanatory documents to help both the internal team and customers to quickly understand the application of product features
  • Analyze the customized requirements, continuously collect feedback and suggestions from users, and propose optimization recommendations

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software industry or project management role, especially valuable if with B2B SaaS experience
  • Background in information engineering/management, or equivalent ability
  • Good oral expression and communication skills, capable of assisting the sales team to address technical questions from clients to internal product team
  • Excellent logical reasoning, familiar with the writing and organizing of technical specifications documents
  • Familiar with SaaS software development processes (Scrum, Agile).
  • Critical thinking skills to quickly identify problems
  • Abilities to coordinate internal resources
  • Data-driven mindset, using data to define ultimate value and effectiveness
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, passionate about solving unfamiliar and complex problems

Highly Valuable Experiences/Skills:

  • PMP or related project management certification.
  • ITIL or information technology infrastructure-related certification.
  • Agile professional (Scrum Master) certification.
  • Experience leading the development and iteration of a B2B SaaS product from 0 to 1.
