The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the dedication and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.
Installation Engineer - RAPID
Perform customer-site installation and acceptance testing of newly delivered systems under varying circumstances, delivering high quality installations/upgrades of KLA products. Perform customer-site retrofit and model changes for previously installed systems. Serve as customer contact on Technical and Service-related matters Perform or ensure the completion of all activities required to handoff a KLA tool that meets and exceeds customers expectations. activities include site surveys, pre-installation, installation, solving, acceptance, training and handoff of the products while applying KLA Best Known Methods at customer sites. Require high flexibility, adaptability and autonomy due to the job includes 50% travel oversea. (Mainly in China Region)Minimum Qualifications
1. BS/MS major in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Servicing or installing semiconductor capital equipment.
3. Knowledge and experience in Semiconductor Wafer Manufacturing, specifically steppers or Metrology Management preferred.
4. High level of technical and solving skills. Fluency in both Mandarin and English.
5. Good demeanor on learning new technology and willing to take challenge.
6. Require high flexibility, adaptability and autonomy due to the job includes 50% travel oversea.
