Position Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional Product Manager to drive the strategy and development of our flagship edge AI development platform. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical expertise spanning hardware systems, AI/ML technologies, and software development processes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex technical requirements into user-friendly products that accelerate AI deployment across heterogeneous edge devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep the product vision, strategy, and roadmap of our edge AI development platform align with market needs and technological advancements.
- Define product requirements and specifications, prioritizing features that address critical customer needs and market opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to optimize platform performance across diverse architectures (ARM, x86, RISC-V, GPUs, FPGAs, etc.).
- Work with Chief Architect Team, ML researchers and software engineers to integrate cutting-edge AI/ML frameworks and tools into the platform.
- Develop and maintain relationships with silicon vendors, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance with various AI accelerators and NPUs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing) to deliver high-quality product releases on schedule.
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform product decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
- Drive the creation and evolution of SDKs and APIs that simplify AI model deployment across heterogeneous hardware.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML technologies or embedded systems.
- Deep understanding of edge computing, IoT ecosystems, and the challenges of deploying AI on resource-constrained devices.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of:
- Hardware architectures and components (CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, FPGAs)
- Low-level software (BIOS, firmware, device drivers)
- ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX)
- Software development tools and processes
1) Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management.
2) Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
3) Proven track record of successfully launching innovative technology products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hardware-software co-design principles.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML offerings.
- Knowledge of AI model optimization techniques for edge deployment.
- Experience with open-source project management or contributions.
- MBA or other advanced degree in a relevant field.
