Applications are invited for appointment as Professor/Associate Professor of Practice (several posts)in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 524691), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. Fractional appointment may be considered for the suitable candidate.
Applicants should possess a Registered Nurse qualification registrable with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong and a doctoral degree in Nursing or a related discipline, with local recognition and evidence of national or regional recognition of clinical excellence. They should also have substantial experience in teaching, training and/or curriculum development. The appointees are expected to play a key role in leading the School's advanced clinical training and laboratory teaching programmes, pursuing new strategic directions for further development of clinical education within the School, etc.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. Salaries tax does not exceed 15% of the gross income at current rates. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will also be provided as applicable.
