This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering solutions for design, planning and implementation of civil and structural works
- Prepare tender documents and drawings for engineering consultancies
- Identify design and construction issues and coordinate with internal and external parties for effective engineering solutions that allow the works to be conducted in safe and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations
- Review consultants and contractors designs to ensure compliance with the latest design codes and practice, the Authority s requirements and relevant statutory requirements
- Conduct general site administration works, which include site supervision, review of proposals from contractors to ensure compliance with engineering design intent and required standards in terms of quality and safety
- Assist the Manager, Civil to control and monitor project progress and project budget
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 6 years relevant working experience, of which 3 years in the project management
- Professional qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or other related disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is required
- Solid experience in management Civil/ Structural/ Building design, planning, construction and site supervisory works
- Proactive mindset with strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software tools
- Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
