PURPOSE OF JOB:
- Ensuring design, build and commissioning of (CAPEX) projects, on time and within budget with the satisfaction of quality and safety requirement.
MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work Processes
- Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager (EM).
- Developing project scope, strategy , interfaces and execution plans.
- Managing, preparing, coordinating and delivering (CAPEX) projects.
- Managing (CAPEX) projects in a safe manner.
- Managing (CAPEX) projects to results with the required budget, schedule, quality and safety expectations.
- Well defining the spec, scope and interfaces in between different contractors.
- Reviewing the project documents (spec, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, safety) submitted by contractors.
- Supervising and coordinating field installation work with relevant departments.
- Coordinating the unloading, storage, installation, start-up, commissioning up to and including the SAT of the equipment in close cooperation with the equipment suppliers, GP&E engineers and the OpCo.
- Supporting the project SHE team on maintaining safety and SHE standards during the project and assists in setting up the project SHE plans.
- Managing and follows up the list of outstanding items (LOI) for project scope.
- Preparing formal project documents like Installation Completed, Quality Achieved, O&M Handing-over, SAT protocol etc. together with suppliers.
- Organizing regular site meetings with suppliers and joins additional meetings (e.g. safety) when requested.
- Monitoring the works executed by the suppliers and is responsible for checking if all conditions for releasing of payments according to contracts are met, reports this to EM.
- Reviewing Variation Orders and claims and reports EM.
- Interfacing with Maintenance Engineer for master data handover.
- Accountable for proper master data handover during project execution and handover to maintenance after project completion.
- Preparing the regular project (weekly/monthly) reports .(Safety/Scope/Schedule/Cost/Progress/Changes/Quality/Risk)
Organization
- Report to Engineering Manager.
- Aligns with production stakeholders including but not limited to SHE, Procurement, Warehousing, Quality, Maintenance, Utilities, Logistics, Finance, HR.
- Aligns with Suppliers, vendors, contractors and global or regional functions if needed.
PREFER EXPERIENCES:
- Preferably Bachelor level with engineering/technical background.
- Fluent English communication skill set is mandatory.
- PMP or relevant certification is preferred.
- Min 8 years experience in managing projects within a technical environment.
- Relevant experiences in Food & Beverage industries are preferred.
- Field installation experiences are preferred.
- Excellent project management skills.
- General knowledge of maintenance engineering processes and cost management.
- General knowledge of CMMS and good knowledge of asset master data handling and control (including technical documentation management).
- Excellent reporting skills.
- Teamwork player, willing to talk/co-work with people from different background.
- Result oriented, well organized with strong execution.
