The Role
The Technical Project Manager leads and directs teams to deliver a unique, high-quality product, or service result within a defined schedule, budget, quality and scope. A positive and motivational driving force for Amdocs initiatives.
What will your job look like
- Responsible for all project management execution: scope, time, cost, quality, change, HR, communication, risk analysis, procurement, integration, transition
- Delivers defined project outcomes on time, within budget and high quality.
- Develops the project's Status Report, Scope of Work, and is accountable for building and maintaining an ongoing Project Management Plan.
- Builds and manages an effective and engaged multi-disciplinary project team to ensure efficient project delivery, usually in a matrix manner.
- Responsible for the management of project resources (Amdocs, clients, sub-contractors), ensuring that budget and scheduling constraints are adhered to.
- Aligns project with overall program policies, roadmap, constraints and plans. Prioritizes tasks and resolves issues/conflicts.
- Leads and facilitates the project risk management process and is responsible for on-going status and progress reporting.
- Responsible for the overall project communication plan and manages relationships with project stakeholders. This includes the preparation of succinct and relevant weekly project updates and the reporting of project KPIs
- Governs and resolves risks and issues that impact project delivery across different content disciplines (SW development, SW Testing, Infrastructure).
- Plan and coordinate training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer acceptance of deliverables and close out projects successfully.

All you need is
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- PSM, Prince2 or PMP Certified
- 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Technical Project Manager in the IT industry leading project management tasks, such as: schedule, budget, resources, risks, etc.
- Experience in the IT/Telecommunications domain and general knowledge in relevant areas such as SW development, delivery, testing, etc.
- Managerial experience (direct or matrix)
- In-depth applied knowledge of standard program/project management concepts, practices and procedures.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage stakeholders and customer expectations effectively
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- [Region Specific Role] Ability to speak and read Mandarin is a requirement to support the Taiwan region
