Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a quality engineer to monitor and improve the quality of our products. The quality engineer's responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.

A successful quality engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.

Jobs Description:

1. Support Advance Development projects.

2. Maintain standards updated based on feedback from plants & projects (lessons learned, compliance to standards).

3. Identify opportunities for supplier development and process improvement activities, while driving Corrective Actions & problem root cause analysis as necessary.

4. Conduct and/or participate in activities such as Design and Process FMEA's, Design of Experiments, Process/Product Capability Studies, Product Liability requirements.

5. Participate in supplier qualification and selection activities, including taking the lead on supplier quality assessments.

6. Participate in initial and sustaining part qualification, including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities as required by the level of criticality of the component.

7. Provide technical support to Production, Materials, and Manufacturing Engineering in the event of a supplier quality problem occurring on a component.

Other

1. University graduate in quality, industrial, or engineering equivalent

2. Minimum 2 years experience in supplier quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.

3. Understand engineering drawings and define the quality specifications.

4. Experience with ISO/IATF quality system.

5. Experience in using QC tools including QC 7 tool, SPC, 8D, statistics, and, data analysis techniques.

6. Good command in both English and Mandarin: being able to communicate effectively (both by text and oral).

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Excellent project management skills.

10. Attention to detail, attentiveness to quality, good logical thinking ability, and task prioritization capability in a dynamic environment.

11. Have a car driver's license.
