Quality Assurance Manager

OVERVIEW

Responsible for ensuring that suppliers continue to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and continue to meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and ensure that procedures and processes are adhered to.

Work closely with suppliers to provide necessary assistance to make effective improvements.

Responsible for providing leadership, outstanding people skills and management to a team of Supplier Quality Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplier quality leadership and vision to enable the organizations short and long-term objectives.
• Participate in the supplier certification process.
• Establish and maintain successful cross-functional relations with Design & Development engineering, sourcing, logistics, production departments.
• Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.
• Enhance supplier quality strategy in partnership with S3 team and provide action for poor suppliers.
• Direct the Suppliers QE team to ensure that the commitments of the Quality Agreements are being fulfilled and help facilitate resolution in cases when they are not.
• Lead timely resolution of corrective actions between SRAM and suppliers.
• Audit strategic suppliers for quality, delivery and productivity improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• BS/BBA in a related field (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)
• Minimum 4 years experiences of supplier management.
• Certified ISO9001 Lead Auditor or Auditor.
