Position Overview
An educational non-profit organization is seeking a talented Regional Director of Brand and Marketing to enhance its presence and expand its mission-driven work across Taiwan, Nepal, the Philippines, and Malaysia. This leadership role is focused on donor engagement, customer relationship management (CRM), online community growth, high-level customer service for donors, and managing outsourced marketing and SEO partnerships. Additionally, the Director will drive the organization's international brand strategy to elevate the visibility of local teams and deepen impact in target regions. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with expertise in customer-based e-commerce, regional marketing, CRM, and a passion for educational equity. Proficiency in English is essential, and our client is committed to advancing educational opportunities for children in the focus regions.
Location: Taipei-based, with travel to Nepal, the Philippines, and Malaysia
Key Responsibilities2. International Brand Strategy and Regional Team Visibility (30%)
- Donor Management and Online Community Engagement in Taiwan (60-70%)
- Donor Recruitment
- Formulate and implement online strategies to grow the Taiwanese donor community
- Drive campaigns across digital channels to attract and engage new donors
- CRM Management
- Lead the optimization of the donor CRM system to boost engagement and long-term donor relationships
- Utilize CRM analytics to refine strategies and deepen donor involvement
- Online Community Engagement
- Cultivate an active online donor community through tailored communication and content initiatives
- Develop and roll out social media strategies to engage Taiwanese donors and foster loyalty
- Donor Customer Service
- Ensure top-notch customer service for all donors, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Establish systems to boost donor satisfaction and retention, including organizing an annual donor event in Taipei
- Outsourcing Management
- Manage relationships with marketing and SEO outsourcing partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with organizational goals
- Brand Strategy Development
- Create and lead international brand strategies to raise awareness of the NGO's work across Nepal, the Philippines, and Malaysia
- Partner with local teams to customize brand initiatives that resonate in each region
- Marketing Campaigns
- Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to amplify the organization's impact and visibility
- Track and analyze campaign outcomes, adjusting strategies based on data insights
- Partnership Development
- Identify and build strategic partnerships to extend brand initiatives and strengthen local influence
- Collaborate with international partners to broaden the organization's reach and effectiveness
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus
Experience
- At least 6-8 years in customer-focused e-commerce marketing/CRM, with a minimum of 3 years in a regional or multi-country capacity
- Demonstrated experience with donor management, CRM platforms, online community building, and customer service
- Proven track record within an NGO setting
- Skilled in managing external marketing and SEO vendors
- Familiarity with marketing dynamics in Taiwan, Nepal, the Philippines, and Malaysia is a strong advantage
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of customer-centered e-commerce marketing and CRM practices
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
