As a Regulatory Compliance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of EMC, Safety, and Radio compliance for global certification programs.
Responsibilities:
- EMC, Safety, and Radio Compliance: Providing expert engineering support to ensure our products adhere to international standards and regulations.
- Certification Program Management:
- Overseeing product testing and project management to secure regulatory approvals and certifications across different regions, such as those set by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), CE marking requirements in the European Union, UL standards in the United States, etc.
- Collaborating with certification bodies to ensure that products obtain the necessary safety certifications to meet market entry requirements.
- Standards Guidance: Reviewing Product Requirement Documents and offering guidance to cross-functional teams on the specific standards that apply to each product.
- Product documentation: Assisting in the preparation of product documentation, including technical files and test reports, for review by certification bodies.
Requirements:
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience in consumer and commercial product EMC, Safety, RF, and sustainability compliance, including familiarity with standards like FCC, IEC, EN/ETSI, RoHS, and REACh.
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Mandatory Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory concepts and methodologies, along with familiarity with industrial standards such as IEC, JEDEC, ASTM, and FCC 15.
- Experience in managing regulatory compliance for consumer or commercial electronic products.
- Work with R&D to ensure the design and development products meet safety standards during the design phase and can pass tests and reviews.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly across diverse engineering groups.
- Advanced-level proficiency in Mandarin.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English equivalent to GEPT intermediate levels.
Bonus Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences would be advantageous:
- Background in robotics or mechatronics.
- Proficiency in project management techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO13482 standards.
