Research Assistant II in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (21000) (Ref.:530222)

Duties and Responsibilities
Recruit and screen potential clinical trial participants by reviewing eligibility criteria and obtaining informed consent.
Coordinate with patients and schedule study visits and procedures according to the clinical trial protocol.
Collect data by performing assessments, conducting interviews, obtaining samples, administering questionnaires, and documenting outcomes.
Assist clinicians and research staff during study visits such as vitals monitoring, sample collection and processing.
Enter and manage participant data in databases and prepare data for analysis.
Assist with administrative tasks like billing, report drafting and document submissions.
Provide general support to the research team through tasks like preparing study materials and equipment.
Help draft and update research ethics applications under the supervision of principal investigator.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree related to medical/health disciplines
Clinical research experience is preferred
A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Cantonese is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis,with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
