The Retail Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the boutiques, making sure they run smoothly, cleanly and meet any budget or sales goals.
He/ She will manage the daily schedule of employees and the business, interview, hire, coordinate and discipline employees, make sure the store is stocked, clean and in proper working order, create and maintain budgets, and coordinate with and report to Head of Taiwan.
He/ She is in constant contact with his/her customers and staff. Also responsible for ensuring his/her staff gives great customer service as well as monitoring the financial performance of the store. Should ensure resources allocated are maximized & budget is respected.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Sales
- Monitor stock levels and purchases with the retailers
- Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
- Target achievement in terms of

- Customer satisfaction

- Weekly sell thru
In store events
- Develop a schedule of holiday activities and promotions throughout the year strategically designed to bring in more revenue
- Present plan to the retailers and negotiate for support
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events and allocate responsibilities to personnel
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the boutiques in analyzing competition activities and proposing inspiring activities
- Analyze events ROI and ensure there are in line with targets
Operations
- Ensure the boutiques fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store's reputation
Management and Staffing
- Daily management of staff, including completing and checking rotas, holding regular meetings and briefing the team on targets
- Sets daily/ weekly targets and follow up achievements. Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
- Oversee the hiring and directly manage, mentor ,train and evaluate field staff
- Actively participate to monthly payroll elaboration, commission scheme, holidays count
- Assure optimal in store coverage in terms of team structure, profile, and compensation model.
- Recruit temporary staff if needed, ensure agency management and cost control
- Education: deliver proper education session and ensure perfect in store application of product knowledges, sales techniques.
Budget Management
- Monitor and maintain Staffing budget
Desired Skills and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field
- 8+years of relevant experience, including time in one or more premium beauty/skin care, brands
- Strong work ethic, conceptual thinker with the ability to execute
- Market oriented and result driven
- Intelligent, analytical, organized and self-confident with a sense for consumer trends
- Excellent people, leadership and management skills, a team player and mentor who has been involved with building brands. Strong connection in retail industry with landlords of department stores in key cities of Taiwan
- Demonstrate the ability to manage daily operations and implement agreed on strategic initiatives which leverage the brands operations.
