Molex is seeking a RF and Signal Integrity Engineer to design, model, analyze, and characterize silicon photonics and high-speed optical transceiver module, cutting edge technology in the data center and storage industry.
The RF and Signal Integrity Engineer will provide design support for existing, new, and advanced silicon photonics high-speed interconnect technology solutions. This person may also interface directly with IC suppliers on signal integrity issues to gather requirements for IC design specifications to meet the demands of the optical module design.

What You Will Do
- Provide signal integrity design guideline to relevant engineers, such as PCB stack-up, via structure, Co-packaged interconnects.
- Design and implement test vehicle for electric IC and photonic IC characteristic.
- IC substrate and module PCB signal integrity design optimization and validation
- Designing high-speed electrode for silicon photonic IC transmitters and receivers.
- Analyze SI simulation results and provide design recommendations to improve overall system performance
- Perform high speed performance testing, failure analysis.
- Design characterization and verification boards, collaborating with PCB design engineers
- Collaborate with IC partners to develop the electrical IC and photonics IC design strategy
- Maintain SI documentation and database
Who You Are
- Master's degree or above, major in Electrical and electronics engineering or relative department.
- Good background in Electromagnetics/RF including a solid understanding of S-parameters
- Understanding VNAs and TDRs
- Good communication skill in English
What Will Put You Ahead
- 1 : 2 year working experience with Electromagnetic or Microwave field including academic research at university
- Experience with Signal Integrity tools such as, HFSS, CST, Agilent ADS.
- Experience correlating simulation results with lab measurements using oscilloscopes, TDRs and VNAs, and spectrum analyzers
- Familiar with PCB layout tool is a plus
