Role Description
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for inside sales, lead generation, communication, sales, and business development. They will be expected to make a high volume of cold calls and emails each day to qualify and build relationships with potential education clients. They will also work closely with our sales team to generate new leads and opportunities.
What this role is responsible for:
- Generate business development leads to book quality leads for sales consultations.
- Making cold calls and responding to enquiries from leads within 24 hours working day to qualify them for sales processes, ensuring that data is diligently, accurately entered and managed within our client's Client Relations Management (CRM) system
- Follow up on opportunities for Academic Advisor to drive target leads to closing.
- Making reminder calls for consultations and event registrations.
- Promote our client's webinars and events for event registration.
- Updating the record of these leads and tracking their movements to the next stage of the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
- Providing operational support to the local office.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive and professional customer interactions and relationships for our client.
- Continuously improving sales techniques, process and enhancing industry knowledge and providing marketing feedback.
- Planning and executing local events to increase brand awareness for our client.
- Engaging in outreach activities such as presenting at school talks, careers expos, and our client's seminars when required.
- Collating weekly sales reports in an accurate and concise manner for management.
- Any other duties required by our client.
Qualifications
- Inside Sales, Sales, and Business Development skills
- Fluent English and Mandarin speaking, listening, reading and writing
- Experience in lead generation and communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with CRM software, Salesforce is a plus
