Get to Know the Role

As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering growth in our organization, overseeing Taiwan's and overseas markets for photomasks in the semiconductor industry. This position requires a dynamic leader with robust sales management skills and a strategic mindset to achieve revenue targets and cultivate strong client relationships. You will need to execute comprehensive sales plans and ensure adherence to industry standards to optimize profitability and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should be able to navigate complex market dynamics and collaborate across borders to achieve strategic objectives and maintain our competitiveness in the semiconductor sector.

Essential Responsibilities:

1) Sales Planning and Execution:

  • Develop annual sales plans and budgets, aligning them with overall business objectives and market conditions.
  • Execute sales plans effectively, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.

2) Managing Sales Team:

  • Lead, coach and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales budgets and targets.
  • Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training and development.
  • Demonstrate multicultural working and management capabilities to effectively lead the sales team in a diverse and dynamic environment.

3) Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients at the director level, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with company offerings.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and effective account management.

4) Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Maintain Taiwan's sales team operations including domestic and overseas sales activities.
  • Negotiate contracts, quoting, pricing agreements, and terms of sale with customers to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs and expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all sales transactions.

5) Market Intelligence:

Gather and analyze photomask and related market information to stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Skills and Competencies Profile:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in sales management, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate and execute sales plans effectively
  • Proficient in English to communicate with others in overseas markets.
