About the job:
This position works in close partnership with Commercial Director, Taiwan to develop and implement local sales and marketing strategies for JR and Mako Robotic business. The individual will lead team to achieve yearly quotas and to increase market share.
What you will be doing:
- Identify market trends and develop and execute sales plans and activities in conjunction with Commercial Director.
- Forecast, monitor and analyse sales performance on an ongoing basis, to initiate corrective actions, prepare reports, summaries, analyses and documentation on all aspects of region sales management
- Collect Market Intelligence and support marketing activities such as sales promotion, training, market research, and execute special projects
- Integrate individual territory plans and account profiles into a broader regional sales plan
- Recruit, hire, train sales team and as a Coach provide feedback to team members
- Plan and manage control expenses to ensure sales objectives are met within budget
- Develop and maintain close relationship with dealers to ensure adherence to the company policy and alignment with the business strategy
- Responsible for providing continuous tools and education programs to group members to ensure up-to-date industry, competitor and product knowledge
- Build an engaged sales team by providing strong leadership and implementing appropriate development initiatives in partnership with HR
- Manage promotions and incentives and provides motivation as needed. Establishes team and individual sales goals and provides effective coaching of sales representatives to consistently improve their performance.
Who are we looking for:
- Degree holder preferred in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biomedical, Medical Science or related field, MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years sales management experience, with hands on managerial experience preferably in medical devices of Taiwan market
- Proven track record in sales management, channel management and key account management
- Proven track record in both Equipment and consumable business.
- Able to maintain dealer relationship and establish the relationship with KOLs
- Excellent problem solving & interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented with good negotiation & communications skill
- Strong business sense with strategical mindset
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key business relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment.
