The Sales Manager is responsible to achieve and exceed sales and financial targets through effective management of direct and indirect sales channels, as well as working with various stakeholders to obtain the desired results.
The Sales Manager has an in-depth understanding of the life sciences market and the customers within the territory and is committed to delivering the targets and the achievement of growth. This position should establish goals and objectives, measure performance, and analyze the potential for improvement.
Responsibilities:
1.Manage the sales activity of innovative products portfolio with high-throughput screening applications and cell-based assays mainly (but not limited) in the Taiwan area.
2.Ensure achievement of sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
3.Provide accurate and timely forecasts.
4.Support the annual strategic planning development and execution.
5.Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.
6.Regularly communicate the status of its sales organization and current market condition to leadership, direct Report to CEO and Group's APAC sales director.
7.Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
8.Visit customers regularly to promote strategic relationships and to identify new business opportunities and market shifts. Implement and manage an optimal sales organization.
9.Achieve customer satisfaction, customer-centric focus, and deliver high-quality business solutions.
10.Collaborate with the marketing team and establish all necessary activities to ensure the success of the organization.
11. Proactively works with other functions to drive efficient support for customers.
Desired Skills and Experience
(A) Minimum a bachelor's degree in life science or other related fields. An advanced degree is a plus.
(B) At least 5+ years experience in the field, with strong business sense and industry expertise.
(C) Fluent in English and Mandarin, able to communicate and present smoothly.
(D) Experience with cell-based assays, drug discovery and/or cell culture preferred
(E) Passionate about technology and laboratory automation
(F) Experienced in expanding business and growing market share, consistently meeting or exceeding targets, successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager.
(G) Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
(H) Strong working knowledge of lead generation, quoting, purchasing, revenue recognition and highly competent in forecast management.
