Job Scope:

The Backend Software Developer will be part of the Autoship/Search & Recommendation System team. The Autoship domain team enables customer subscription of our products globally. The team is fast paced, highly skilled, and the Search & Recommendation System domain team is in charge of the search engine optimization and ads recommendation features externally and internally. The teams will be responsible for critical parts of the entire business requiring a high level of focus and great attention to detail. You will be working with some exciting new technologies such as React & Docker/Kubernetes as well as .NET core micro services. You will be utilizing cloud technologies to automate processes and scale to support our growing number of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Full lifecycle application development
• Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
• Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
• Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
• Software modeling and simulation
• Software testing and quality assurance
• Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
• Support, maintain and document software functionality
• Integrate software with existing systems
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
• Project Planning and Project Management
• Maintain standards compliance
• Implement localization or globalization of software

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM majors, advanced degree is preferred.
• Generally requires a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a backend or full stack developer role.
• Mastering of C# programming language, and .NET framework (ASP.NET Core).
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application.
• Solid knowledge and experience with computer science: data structure, algorithm, unit testing, integration testing.
• Frequent practitioner/contributor of Leetcode or similar coding exercise platforms.
• Experience in container technology and microservice architecture.
• Experience with Git repository.
• Experience in cloud based architectures (K8s, SQL/NoSQL, Message Queues, ESBs, Kubernetes/Docker, AWS)
• Good command of English (written+verbal) and Mandarin Chinese (verbal).
• Good communication skill (outward going)
• Strong analytical skill

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with the technologies needed for the project: (kafka, rabbitmq, redis, kubernetes, graphql, etc.)
• Knowledge of RESTful API.
• Knowledge of asynchronous queue processing.
• Understanding of how to architect multithreaded applications.
• Experience using a relational database system.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with Redis or other equivalent technology.
• Proficient with HTML 5, CSS 3.0, JavaScript ES5/6/7
• E-Commerce industry experience

About the employment - EOR hiring

Worca's all-in-one platform simplifies the process of managing payroll and taxes in multiple countries where clients might not have a local entity or legal presence. As our client does not currently have a legal entity in the APAC region, they leverage Worca's HR solutions service to handle in-country labor laws and streamline the complexities of cross-border employment.

Consequently, you will be officially employed by Worca and considered an overseas personnel of our client. Worca will act as their local legal representative, providing support with international payroll, employment compliance, and tax obligations to ensure ongoing employment and labor law compliance. Our client will retain responsibility for critical aspects such as interviews, compensation approval, job content, access rights, and other decision-making processes.
