We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as
Senior Credit Manager.
Principal responsibilities:- Ensure that HASE operates within the agreed risk appetite and uphold credit control and timely escalation for material cases/ issues
- Work with Front Office and clients on underwriting opportunities
- Review and approve/concur credit proposals in Private Banking
- Formulate and review credit guidelines and policies on regular/ ad hoc basis to cope with business needs, credit appetite and regulatory changes
- Support the rollout of the industry / bank-wide projects to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory environment
- Oversee the loan portfolio performance and implement robust credit monitoring and control measure
- Develop periodic/ad hoc reporting and portfolio analysis for internal departments and external parties, including WCRM, MTS, FIN, RC, LGA, etc.
- Conduct regular review on work processes and service levels and initiate change to enhance client experience, increase operational efficiencies and streamline
- Keep abreast on market development and competitor move and propose new ideas to ensure market competitiveness
Requirements:
University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications Minimum 8 years banking experience with knowledge in credit advisory, control/monitoring and operations an advantage Strong business sense and credit skills Good analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills Attentiveness to details and ability to work independently and under pressure Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with good knowledge of application software such as MS Excel and PowerPoint Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective deliverables
