Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 530228) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (minimum grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. Applicants should have at least 5 years relevant work experience or a recognized Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years clerical experience preferably in tertiary institutions. They should be self-motivated, attentive to details and able to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently, and work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is required, along with effective interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. IT proficiency and confidence in dealing with individuals at all levels are essential.
The appointee will provide administrative and clerical supportin various aspects of research programmes such as admission exercise, class timetabling and examination matters assist academic staff in managing their project accounts, including procurement, reimbursement, and project staff recruitment, etc. He/she will also provide general support to events, seminar organization and visitor arrangement, and perform any other duties as assigned. Those with higher qualifications or more experience may be considered for the post of Senior Executive Assistant. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
