We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with a strong emphasis on frontend experience to join our dynamic team to continually expand our live interactive educational product.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the frontend architecture, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
- Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and other server-side services.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and maintainability.
- Work closely with the product and design teams to translate designs into responsive and interactive web applications.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in frontend development.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in frontend development, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Proficiency in modern frontend technologies, including ReactJS, Vite, and NextJS.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other core web technologies.
- Experience developing responsive and interactive web applications.
- Proven experience mentoring junior engineers and leading project teams.
- Ability to maintain high efficiency and quality of work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cross-platform (Electron) product development, particularly in the educational technology sector.
- Experience with HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript canvas libraries.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools.
- Familiarity with backend technologies and databases, with the capability to work across the full stack when necessary.
