Overview: The Senior Investment Director will lead a small team, overseeing M&A and project financing, with a focus on providing commercial judgment, strategic recommendations, and business development support. Experience in renewables is a plus but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team (1-2 associates/analysts) to support M&A transactions and project finance.
- Independently manage M&A transactions and financing activities.
- Provide commercial judgment and strategic insights for investment decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development (BD) teams to assess project feasibility.
- Guide the team in comprehensive due diligence (CDD) and deliver strategic recommendations.
- Prepare and review detailed financial models, willing to handle high-level and hands-on modeling as needed.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in M&A and project finance, preferably with exposure to renewable energy projects.
- Proven leadership skills in managing small teams.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to independently conduct CDD and make informed commercial decisions.
- Self-motivated, capable of initiating new business ventures and developing investment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting Line: The Senior Investment Director will report directly to the Country Manager
