Title: Senior Presales Consultant
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pre-Sales Engineer with specialized expertise in issuing and acquiring payment solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the payment software industry, particularly in cloud-based platforms, and the integration of AI/ML technologies. As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving the technical aspects of the sales process by providing expert guidance, demos, and support to our clients and prospects.
Job Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise & Consultation:
- Act as the primary technical resource during the pre-sales process, showcasing expert knowledge in issuing and acquiring payment solutions.
- Provide deep technical consultation to clients to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions that meet their business requirements.
- Solution Demonstration & Documentation:
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating the value proposition of our solutions.
- Create detailed product documentation, proposals, and implementation plans to support the sales cycle.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, offering top-tier support and guidance throughout the sales process.
- Continuously engage with clients to identify additional business opportunities and provide strategic advice.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
- Work closely with the sales, product management, and engineering teams to align customer requirements with our product offerings and development roadmap.
- Assist in the creation of technical content, such as whitepapers, case studies, and webinars, to support marketing efforts and customer education.
- Industry Knowledge & Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the payment software industry, particularly in cloud technologies and AI/ML applications.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and training to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role within the payment software industry, with a focus on issuing and acquiring solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI/ML technologies applied to payment processing.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of payment processing ecosystems, including card issuing, acquiring, payment gateways, and networks.
- Proficiency in cloud architecture, API integration, and data analytics.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
