Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I in the Critical Care Medicine Unit

Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I in the Critical Care Medicine Unit (22800).
Applicants should possess a Master's degree or above in Biomedical Sciences, Biostatistics, or health-related disciplines. They should have at least 4 years of experience in biomedical research. Experience in data science, machine learning, and observational outcomes research will be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in working on statistical software and data management, and the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be appointed as Research Assistant I.
The post provides a good opportunity for professional growth through close collaboration with the Research Lead. The appointee will work under the supervision of Dr. Pauline Yeung Ng to assist in administrative and research work, including but not limited to data collection and analysis, project management, and manuscript preparation. The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary (monthly salary $30,000 - $40,000) commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
