The Microsoft Silicon Engineering Solutions and Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) teamis responsible for developing and delivering the hardware and firmware that is responsible for powering Microsoft's Intelligent Cloud mission.SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and data centerinfrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. Azure Hardware Key Management Service (HKMS) teamis part of the SWFW COE (Software and Firmware Center of Excellence) team under SCHIE. HKMSteam works closely with Microsoft product groups, industry partners and researchers to architect and develop server hardware solutions that meet the requirements for our cloud services platforms at the lowest possible cost of ownership.

In HKMS team, you will design and develop high scalable, reliable and world class manageable cloud-based services to harvest, issue, and authenticate hardware identities of root-of-trust devices for datacenter cloud servers, to track device lifecycle and enable FW security features, and improve reliability and security of cloud server hardware during the entire lifecycle. You will also work closely with Microsoft partner suppliers for onboarding Microsoft HW certificate manufacture provisioning process.
