What's the role
. Ensures Quality of delivered products from assigned supplier portfolio on project phase and series production phase
. Develop supplier`s quality systems from reactive to preventive by implementing a sustainable FMEA approach.
. Manage risks and drive implementation of preventive actions
What does the role involve
- Develop suppliers to Hilti expected quality level.
- Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers with supply manager.
- Lead and moderate P-FEMA to mange risks at supplier side.
- Conduct routine supplier audits and workshops with existing suppliers to detect improvement potentials and discuss quality and technical issues to support suppliers on quality improvements.
- Pro-actively monitoring of supplier quality status, driving improvements where necessary.
- Support on Hilti TTM process, cooperate with sourcing and development on sample inspections.
- Inspection plan and implementation, inspection technology application and method standardizing.
- Defect analysis and reporting, support sourcing on annual suppliers evaluation, drive on the improvement on PPM.
- Coach and guide team members to achieve the team targets and Trainings on responsible technologies to the team.
- Be deputy of Team leader of SQE in absence of Teamleader.
- Work on any other duties and projects assigned by the direct superior.

Why should you apply
- University degree, major in Engineering.
- University graduate in (Mechanical is preferred) engineering or equivalent.
- Min. 5 years of experience in engineering, production fulfillment or quality roles in an industrial environment. Experience of supplier quality management, capable to develop assigned suppliers quality system and manufacturing process.
- Good understanding and experience in minimum one of the technologies: metal forming, stamping & bending, welding, heat treatment or zinc plating / surface treatment.
- Experience in quality process audit is a basic prerequisite and preferably has auditor license.
- Experience in inspection and measuring area and preferably w/ 3D machine, projector operation experience.
- Familiar w/ quality & environmental standard and quality analysis tools, such as SPC, FMEA etc.
- Proficiency in written/oral English and Mandarin.
- Superior PC knowledge in all Microsoft Windows Applications.
- Willingness to travel domestically at least 50% to work on Suppliers job site.
