The Role:
This position includes taking the owner responsibility for:
Implementing PCR material and doing the product qualification.
Design for Sustainability - implement the new design to make the product stainable.
Develop the derivative products.
ME production issue sustaining: Problem-solving of the product's mechanical issues continually enhances the mechanical design and improves the yield rate and cost after mass production with a scientific approach.
Communication with other teams is also required to ensure the schedule, cost, and performance of the project.

Take ownership and collaborate with other worldwide functions to achieve the derivatives product development.
Partner of the NPI and take the responsibility to solve the product issues after MP.
With other teams and play a key role in the qualification of new material, painting, switch components, and mechanical-related parts
With Manufacturing teams/Suppliers to ensure our designs are optimized for mass production.
Analysis, documentation, and testing of mechanical parts & assemblies. Analyze critical areas of design with the use of appropriate analysis tools.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
5+ years of experience in mechanical design/development of high-volume consumer electronic products.
Good knowledge of plastic, tooling, injection molding, assembly process, cosmetic finishes, and defect analysis.
Good 3D modeling skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Familiar with the quality tools such as DOE, FMEA, PSS, and Tolerance Analysis.
Good understanding of risk management.
Advanced Knowledge of quality tools such as DFMEA, DFMA, PSS, and Tolerance Analysis.
Taking initiative in the job.
Creative and self-motivated.
Good command of English writing and speaking, and the ability to make a file for presentations.
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
Communication skills in both Chinese and English
Experience in mouse, keyboard, computer, camera, cell phone, and related consumer electronic products
Rich experience in modeling and tooling
Education:
Graduate or undergraduate in Mechanical or Engineering Area
