Senior UI Designer

We are looking for an outstanding UI Designer for our product development team at Positive Grid. Here, you will work with a team of music enthusiasts to create industry-leading products.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with the product manager to define design requirements and oversee design quality, delivering clear design documentation to the engineering team. You will be responsible for defining the visual style of the product and presenting high-quality design proposals, and most importantly, have the creativity to explore and bring concepts to life in unknown territories.

You should possess extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, as well as user-centered design principles. You have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. Your designs will be seen by musicians around the world and inspire their creativity.

Typical Accountabilities

- Formulate the design language of products and present excellent visual proposals.

- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide clear design documents.

- Ability to build and maintain design systems, guidelines, and UI libraries, and organize them into products to maintain UI consistency.

- Collaborate with product managers and user researchers to plan product development strategy, and help define user needs.

Essential

- 3+ years of experience in UI and UX design.

- Highly skilled in Figma, Photoshop, and similar tools.

- Deep experience in product design for Android, iOS and Web frameworks, familiarity with each platform's guidelines and development standards.

-A portfolio of work that showcases excellence in user experience and visual design.

Desirable

- Candidates with experience in 3D modeling and rendering will be given priority.

- Candidates with experience in playing guitar and music will be given priority.
