Job Description

  • Take lead of EHS management to support in business development and sustainability from corporate perspective, provide guidance and ensure compliance with Ecolab standards and legal requirements.
  • Deploy company-wide EHS standards for Ecolab Taiwan with reference to local regulations, compile and monitor annual plans to achieve EHS goals.
  • Assist in business development, marketing activities and customer inquiries related to EHS and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with local leadership team and site managers to lead and drive improvements in organizational EHS program/ system, culture, awareness, and accountability.
  • Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement processes, interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to local leadership team.
  • Define a portfolio of health and safety performance management projects, develop plans and coordinate the implementation of projects accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Class-1 Manager of Occupational Safety and Health Affairs is a must, and Level-B technician for labor health management is preferred (,)
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering, Chemical Sciences or related discipline.
  • 8 years or above working experiences in EHS Environment / Health / Safety function in chemical and/or relevant industries will be preferred.
  • Relevant experience in EHS permitting, EHS/ESG management system, Compliance Audit, Supply Chain Management, with cross-functional experiences as a plus.
  • Working Experiences in multinational companies is preferred.
  • Has experience in ISO certification process for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment including ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO45001/ISO50001.
  • Good in communication and influencing others.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
