Role: Site General Manager
Location: Taiwan - Relocation Support Provided.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develops and implements long and short-term strategies, policies, and objectives. Contributes to achieving company targets and business aims.
- Operational Excellence: Constructs strategies for future business needs, participates in plant expansion planning, and ensures performance in production, yield, safety, quality, and cost.
- Manufacturing Standards: Develops manufacturing plans, ensures resources and equipment are maintained, and implements methods to improve product quality and safety.
- Cost Management: Achieves optimal employee levels and controls operational costs to meet budget plans. Ensures processes support business goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Promotes best practices, uses Lean principles, and implements world-class manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Team Leadership: Directs department managers, fosters a culture of accountability, and maintains high employee morale through motivation and coaching.
- Staff Development: Hires, trains, and evaluates staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and developing a high-performance workforce.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and experienced in Oral Solid Dosage manufacturing.
- Experienced in Regulatory Inspection including inspection by US FDA/EMA.
- Strong leadership experience, managing more than 200 employees, including production and engineering teams.
- Ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English and Mandarin preferred
