Job Summary
Supermicro is seeking a Software Design Engineer in Hsinchu office. This role will be working within a team to design, implement and maintain our Backend of server management product. Candidate should be self-motivated and eager to satisfy customers need by considering security, performance, optimization and usability in their designs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Understand requirements from PM
- Survey, design, implement and test product features based on PM requirements
- Debug, maintain and keep enhance products
- Follow SDLC (Software Development Cycle) and co-work with a large scrum team.
Qualifications- BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
- Must have:
- Proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, or one of the following: Java, Python, Go, C#.
- Familiar with web frameworks like React, Django, Flask, Vue.js, or AngularJS.
- Experience with GitLab or other version control tools, RESTful APIs.
- Worked with UI/UX designers, strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes, VM, OpenStack.
- Familiar with web testing tools (React-Test-Library, Jest, Enzyme).
- Experience with open-source projects (Redis, MariaDB), Agile, CI/CD, Linux OS.
- 3+ years software development experience preferred.
