Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leading external suppliers in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps.
- Drive ramp readiness with engineering, operations and suppliers to ensure quality, capacity, cost, and manufacturing processes meet SMC's requirements.
- Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with SMC's supply chain teams.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of program management experience in dealing with high volume manufacturing, in the areas of design, process, commodity cost, factory cost, supply and quality management
- .Ability to travel up to 40% to various domestic / international destinations
- .Exceptional ability to build relationships, build cross-functional teams and exert effective influence in a matrix organization
- .Operate in an ambiguous environment, taking charge, and having an attention to detail without becoming lost in the details
- Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
- Incredible drive, motivation, and energy to completing any challenge given
- Ability to think strategically, while driving tactical program execution
