Server Workload Protection is Trend Micro's multi-tenant security product that provides physical server, virtualization environment, and cloud platform protection. It contains complete security features such as anti-malware, firewall, intrusion prevention, log inspection, system integrity monitoring, and web reputation that provide the best security protection for Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, HP-UX, physical or virtual Windows, and Linux machines. Other than the basic security features above mentioned, we are also researching and integrating new threat defense technology to tackle the fast-changing threat landscape. You will first work in a small scrum team with a focus on a specific domain and can switch teams to learn new domains within the rapidly growing product family.
Job Description
- Develop all dimension security software for the cloud environment and comprehensive server platforms.
- Resolve customer problems in a timely manner to support critical business successfully.
- Collaborate with global product development team and support teams among multiple countries.
- Engage in long-term software quality enhancement to ensure product viability.
Qualification/Requirement
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Scripts (Lua, bash)
- Embraces DevOps culture including design, coding, testing, CI/CD, and support customer issues
- Experience in system-level software development on Linux platforms.
- Strong software problem troubleshooting Linux skills and customer-oriented solution approach
- Has good collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
Nice To Have Skills
- Knowledgeable on Enterprise network environment, virtualization, and Cloud technology is a plus.
- Familiar with Container, Kubernetes technique is a plus.
- Good English communication skills and proactive mindset on global team collaboration.
- Experience with test automation development.
