Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the core technology research and development of Volcano Engine hybrid cloud storage products, and provide enterprise-level storage product services for ByteDance's internal business and Volcano Engine customers 2. Deeply understand the core capabilities of storage, combine the specific needs of customer/industry hybrid cloud scenarios, and through leading architecture design, continue to innovate and make breakthroughs in core areas such as storage IO, database transaction processing, query analysis, and data security, and complete high-quality engineering implementation 3. Have a deep understanding of IT architecture in various industries, develop storage gateways, integrated backup and other products, realize multi-cloud and on-cloud and off-cloud data interoperability, and provide customers with an extremely flexible foundation for IT.
Qualifications
1. Familiar with the principles of storage systems or relational database systems, and have relevant R&D work experience in middleware, HA, kernel, etc. 2. Familiar with at least one of C/C++/Rust/Go/Python, have a good foundation in algorithms and data structures, have high requirements for engineering quality have extreme requirements for performance 3. Have work experience in storage, databases, high-concurrency systems, distributed systems, etc., and have a deep understanding of the technology in this field 4. Familiar with one or more of the related products such as object storage, block storage, file storage, MySQL, PolarDB, TiDB, OceanBase, CynosDB, Spanner, etc. are preferred those with experience in large-scale system R&D and implementation are preferred 5. Those with experience in hybrid cloud scenarios such as privatization, multi-cloud, on-cloud and off-cloud interoperability for related products are preferred.
