The Role
We're seeking a creative and technically-minded student software engineer to join our founding team. You'll work directly with senior engineers to build delightful features using modern web technologies, focusing on smooth animations, micro-interactions, and pixel-perfect implementation.

What You'll Do
- Implement charming user interfaces using PixiJS and modern JavaScript
- Create smooth, playful animations and transitions using Tweenjs
- Develop and optimize particle systems for ambient effects
- Collaborate with designers to bring pixel art assets to life
- Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science or related program
- Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
- Basic understanding of 2D graphics and animation concepts
- Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively in English
- Eye for detail and appreciation for polished user experiences
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with PixiJS, Tweenjs, or similar game development libraries
- Interest in pixel art and creative coding
- Previous work on personal game or creative coding projects
- Basic understanding of WebGL and canvas performance optimization
- Experience with real-time multiplayer applications
