Job Intro

Join the dynamic team at Cake as a Talent Acquisition Associate, where you will play a key role in identifying and securing top talent to help drive our company's growth. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the People team and key stakeholders to deliver a seamless recruitment experience, ensuring that we attract and retain the best candidates who align with Cake's values and goals.

This role is designed to give you full-function training in human resources, focusing first on Talent Acquisition across junior roles in multiple functional teams. And later expanding the scope to assist with Talent Management, Talent Operations, and Talent Development, as well as gaining valuable exposure to senior-level hiring. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from our leadership and grow into a well-rounded talent acquisition professional.

Responsibilities


  • Partner with stakeholders to implement an efficient and effective recruitment and candidate assessment process.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding, helping individuals find their ideal roles at Cake.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, scheduling interviews, and successfully closing candidates.
  • Manage all recruiting tasks, such as posting job advertisements, preparing interview materials, and coordinating follow-up on interview outcomes.
  • Organize and attend recruitment events, such as university career fairs and industry-specific job fairs, to network with potential candidates.
  • Contribute to Cake's growth by helping us identify and secure top talent for our teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Quick learner who is resourceful and driven to tackle hard problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who is determined to lead change and make a real impact.
  • Effective coordination and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented and always focusing on driving results in a measurable way to ensure we stay focused on the highest-impact initiatives.
  • Have passion in turning ideas into reality, and unlocking the unknowns in the world.
  • Strong motivation to build a career in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a startup and international environment.
  • Experience in leading employer/student association branding initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools.
