Technical Project Manager

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager II. The Technical Project Manager II role is pivotal in overseeing project management aspects for new product development initiatives. Leadership is paramount for maintaining schedules, product costs, and quality standards, as any delays in filling this position could significantly impact ongoing projects. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will orchestrate all technical resources and coordination efforts. Key responsibilities include setting and achieving project objectives, ensuring top-notch quality and project control, managing client and vendor interactions, and serving as the subject matter expert.

Required Expertise & Special Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in engineering or new product development
• Proficiency in English
• Proven experience in defining projects, gathering requirements, and coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and release new product features
• Ability to analyze cost/benefit of product introduction
• Working knowledge of Project Management Methodologies
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication abilities across all organizational levels
• Familiarity with standard project management tools such as Microsoft Project

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and associated deliverables for successful project execution.
• Communicate project expectations clearly and timely to team members and stakeholders, including executive management levels.
• Facilitate the sharing of best practices among the project management team.
• Continuously evaluate development and release processes to enhance project execution and product quality.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies
