Job Summary
Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking talented Validation Engineer to join the testing team based out of our San Jose headquarter office. This position will be working closely with BIOS and design team to test and validate motherboards, systems, and other server components; discover and resolve hardware and software issues collaboratively. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in enterprise motherboards and its components with strong testing knowledge, able to work effectively in team environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Server M/B Hardware Validation for hardware SI/margin..etc
- High Speed Signal Validation.
- PCI-E & DMI Margin Test.
- DC to DC (VRM) Power Validation.
- Co-work with other department.
- Basic Knowledge for MB schematic.
- Program Labview automation tools.
- To share currently O.S compatibility test work loading.
- To share currently Ch4/5 test work loading.
- For SMC Management software testing, such SD5/SUM/SSM/SPM/SuperDiag etc.
- For Reliability/Thermal testing.
- For Memory DIMM/PSU testing.
- For MB Function BIOS/Stress/testing.
- performer system validation testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree.
- Experience with LabVIEW.
- At least 23 years of relevant experience in Sever/Motherboard/Notebook/Desktop product hardware validation or development.
- Knowledge with basic analog and digital electronic engineering.
