This role involves procuring drone components, assembling drones, installing firmware, and assisting with flight tests to ensure seamless integration with our geospatial software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drone technology, including assembly, tuning, firmware, and flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:
-Component Procurement and Drone Assembly: Source and acquire necessary drone
components. Assemble drones with precision, ensuring all parts are correctly installed and integrated for optimal performance.
-Firmware Installation: Install and configure firmware on test drones to ensure
compatibility with our geospatial software and other integrated systems.
-Flight Testing: Assist in planning and executing drone flight tests. Evaluate drone
performance and functionality during tests to ensure alignment with project requirements and performance standards.
-Sensor Integration: Work with a variety of sensors including EO/IR, FMV, IR, LIDAR, and Optical Flow. Ensure accurate installation and calibration of sensors for effective data collection and system performance.
-Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and adhere to government regulations and industry standards related to drone operations. Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws and guidelines.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize knowledge of PX4 and MavLink protocols to configure and optimize drone systems. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
Experience:
-Demonstrated experience in drone assembly and tuning.
-Proven track record in installing and configuring drone firmware.
-Hands-on experience with drone flight operations and testing.
Technical Skills:
-Proficiency with a range of sensors, including EO/IR, FMV, IR, LIDAR, and Optical Flow.
-Familiarity with PX4 and MavLink protocols and tools.
Knowledge:
-In-depth understanding of drone behavior, performance, and government regulations concerning drone use.
Personal Attributes:
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Highly proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented.
-Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
Education and Experience:
-A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field is preferred.
-Relevant certifications or specialized training in drone technology are advantageous.
-Prior experience in a similar role or industry is highly desirable.
